The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday evening and the waitress put us at the very last table outside the washroom. She was rude and didn't even smile. She didn't dress like a waitress either, very un-professional overall. After experiencing her bad attitude, we left.
Our friends, regulars at Remy's had planned a Friday night soiree of drinks and apps to celebrate their last nights in Toronto. The staff was not only rude, but they chastised us for trying to squeeze an extra seat on the empty downstairs patio.. after 5 minutes of verbal abuse by the waitress, and a heated exchange of words.. we all got up and left. We took our festivities around the corner and had a great night in the end. Will NOT go back, and will SPREAD the WORD.
Food poisoning to go. We went to Remy's and my husband had the a ceasar salad and Chicken Antonio. My meal was OK but for the $23 it cost, it was nothing special. My husband said the chicken was dry and tasteless and his salad greens were brown around the edges. His so called ceasar salad had no garlic - he did not finish it. It took us just over 1 hour to arrive back home before the food poisoning took hold in my husband. Needless to say, we won't be back.
We had a reservation for 20 though, when we went there, they did not offer tables for 20 and offered just tables for 6. And also they did not know how to serve and how important service to customers. they should learn what the customer service is. we felt some kind of discrimination for asians! I never visit there again!!!!!!!!
All staff and Manager should attending training courses to learn how to serve. DON'T FORGET YOU ARE ALL IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRIES. Food was not worth the price, and it takes forever to arrive, eventhough the frozen food in the supermarket will taste better. Drinks were made wrong even from the second time. You are disgrace to the Italian cuisine!!!!
