HORRENDOUS Waitress
The other day, I went into Jack Astors with my husband and a couple of friends, later at night. We sat in the bar area and had a great time. The waitress, Maya, came over, and was curt and sharp from the beginning. Once she brought our drinks over, and menus, she never came back to take any food orders. (Luckily we were just having snacks, and passed on them, since conversations were so interesting). We didn't see her for the rest of the night, and the bar area was not even too busy (was a weeknight) Eventually, we asked her for the bill, and Maya, ran over with the bill, and aggressively said "Do you need a machine for this?". In other words, she was anxious to get her tip, but not so anxious to do the work to serve customers. I responded "I don't know yet, I haven't looked at it" To which, Maya, responded EXTREMELY aggressively and horribly. She bitched, on and on and on and on. It was ridiculous! I have NEVER experienced such a negative, awful character in my entire life. Still I left a bit of a tip, to honour my friends who were there. Maya will not go very far in this business. I am quite sure she will get fired. As I was walking out, another person, mentioned that she was awful as well. As long as Maya works at this Jack Astor's I will not return to it.
