The Ontario Society of Senior Citizens' Organizations (OSSCO) is a network of organizations. We support our aging population to enhance their quality of life through education, consultation and influencing stakeholders.
OSSCO offers many educational programs such as Free computer training, elder abuse awareness training, strategies for overcoming loneliness and social isolation and enhancing employment opportunities for older workers. This is in addition to participating in research projects, public policy and stakeholder relations, as well as information and referral services.
Through our commitment to improving the quality of life for seniors, we evolved into a well-being organization. We did this by involving seniors from multicultural, health, native, recreational, retiree and women's organizations in our activities. Our membership includes over 140 seniors' organizations and individuals representing 500,000 senior citizens from across Ontario.more...See more text
