Best Little Restaurant in Niagara

We spent 9 days in Niagara Falls and 8 of those days we had breakfast at Scoops. Before others criticize the owners and the restaurant, I would suggest that you try it first. The owners have a very friendly nature and are always willing to please. The atmosphere is similar to a kitchen party and you are greeted as you enter and made to feel like a long lost member of the family. Like I said, "try it and you will like it".

Food is mostly reheated, not homemade. They treat students like their not their customers. There lucky that they make good seasoning. Also an health concern, they use their barehands to make the food.

The atmosphere is homey with a very casual group of eaters. The food is great and the service is efficient and attentive. The breakfasts arrived hot and cooked properly with no burnt toast. A great place to eat.

Don't Drink the Water!

Had the breakfast, bacon and eggs and toast. Asked for a glass of water. The waiter/chef went a got a glass then went to the freezer and scooped out the ice with his bare unwashed hands and then filled the glass with water and served this to me. We wondered what hygiene practices were being ignored in the kitchen where we could not see. Will not visit again.
