For chain resturants East Side Mario's is my favorite good prices, good food and good service. Unlimited salad and bread is good but on busy nights during the school year in guelph it can be limited because the waitresses are so busy they only come by once before your main meals are ready.
Sitting in the bar, we were able to appreciate our server because it got quite busy. Despite juggling tables and filling in at the bar, she kept it all together. The whole teamwork thing really did work. Service was prompt but not intrusive. Beer was ice cold (perfect!) The crab dip was nothing special, but the entre was perfect and ample for 2 people. Love the salad... Vegs were crisp tender, potato perfection (my partner is a potato gourmand) and the chicken was a nice surprise. Definitely a bargain entre at under $20!
