Fresh & Flavorful with a fruity bouquet and light crisp finish
We had a wonderful evening, diner was GREAT, the service was a bit slow, but still friendly, and the prices were pretty good. The red wine has left a lasting impression, and I LOVE their greek salad! A bit too much dressing, but still one of the best I've ever had!
Anybody that reguarly visits this restaurant can tell you:
1) the service is VERY hit or miss
2) the food is ALWAYS excellent
If you've visited this restaurant 10 times, you've likely endured at least one 30+ minute wait, to be seated when the restaurant wasn't full, for a server to visit your table after being seated or for your food to arrive after being ordered.
With that said I have never had a bad meal from the Greek Garden. The food has always been excellent when it arrives, taste, and temperature. The fact that I have endured multiple 30+ minute waits but continue to go back is a testament to my enjoyment of their menu.
Nice to visit an old friend again -- the Greek Garden -- that my wife and I haven't been in for a few years. Our old favourites are still there, pork and lamb souvlaki, and tasted as good as we remembered them, although the potatoes were served a bit on the cold side. We didn't have the room to enjoy dessert -- big portions, you know -- but noticed that there's now a larger variety of choices than once upon a time. Next time, we'll save room to give the desserts a try.
We were surprised that lunchtime on Valentine's Day wasn't more popular among some of the "full nesters" generation, but we enjoyed the wonderful service, and actually found a space in the parking lot, which can be a real challenge when this place gets busy!
