I will never go back here ever again I got a new set of nails with shellac nail polish and with in 2 days my nail polish chipped off and my nail broke right off I called them and she said she could not help me fix them and if I did she would make me pay pull price.
They did exactly what I wanted in a timely manner. The nail tech fixed a horrible job from another salon and was super friendly. I will definitely go back!
Came in at 3pm for the Beauty Spring Time Promo for $40. But I was charged $62.50 for an ombré set. I was ignored for about TWO HOURS before one of the workers noticed I wasn’t being helped. She did my nails and rushed them. Didn’t give me what I paid for. I was very frustrated I wanted to cry. I’m not a bad customer, I don’t like making scenes but I’m thinking I should’ve because I was given such awful service. Left at 5:30pm. More to my story than this too.
Went there several times. Not consistently good. Feel they want to do rush job on you. Went to American Nails and they were superior with their quality of work.
I've been getting my nails done here 15 years. I've learned my lesson not to go anywhere else. The prices are fair here and they know what they are doing. I like my nails thin not bulky and my nail girl understands. I go to Kim, she's upto date with the current designs. I always leave with a new design and happy everytime. Its time someone gives them credit. For all of you nasty people, stop it with the lashing online, grow up and tell them what you want/like. Were all human, dont be haters!
Best salon in Winnipeg!! I just got my nails done and I am in LOVE with my Chrome mirror nails. This place is clean, price is reasonable compared to other places and the wait is usually less than 5-10 minutes. My only concern is sometimes their parking is full in the front, so I end up parking in the back or at polo.
This place is da bomb! It's clean, reasonably priced and have lots of nail art. I usually bring in designs I find on Instagram and they never fail to surprise me, that they have the matching color gems or beads! My nails don't lift! I've been telling all my friends about this place because they always ask. I looove my nails!
I went in on December 17 to get a manicure with shellac. Within 4 days, 5 of my fingernails were bare, the polish had lifted off in complete sheets. I have had shellac last me well over 4 weeks before and knew this wasn't normal. There was zero prep done to the surface of the nail to help with any bonding. No grinding, or dehydrating or priming at all. You can't apply gel polish to a slippery naturally oily nail and have it bond properly! I went in on December 22 to have it fixed. Thankfully I was able to get it redone but not in the design I originally paid for, no time for that. So I picked a solid colour, I just wanted nice nails for Christmas. She took off the remaining polish and immediately started polishing again. I stopped her to ask if she was going to do anything to prep the surface of the nail so it doesn't happen again. She opened a few drawers and closed them and said she didn't have anything like that, they don't do that anymore. Then assured me it was the brand of polish that made it lift off so easy and this new brand Gelish wouldn't. Gelish is the only gel polish I've ever had used (over 40 manicures in the past 4 years). You can't argue with someone who won't listen. Anyways. It's December 24, and my thumb nail polish is half off. Stupid. I want my money back. And my tip back. And my time back. Don't go here.
After having my gel nails done 2 weeks ago, they have since had to be redone now for the second time. The nails are lifting off and chipping. I wouldn't recommend this very incompetent salon to anyone!
I'm so happy to find this salon. I'm a bit of a germaphobe and I'm glad this salon uses an autoclave to sterilize their implements. It's a big salon. I usually walk in and get in right away which is awesome since I have young kids and have no time to wait. Best of all, they do nice nails!!
Awful awful awful! I made an appointment for 430 to have my nails filled. They insisted I remove my previous ones and let my hands soak in acetone for well over an hour while they tended to other clients. When they finally got to me they put the nails on incredibly crooked and uneven. The acrylic barely reaches the back of my nail and there are sparkles everywhere that there shouldn't be sparkles. There are also little bumps all over the top of my nail. They also rushed me out of the salon as soon as they finished their disgusting job on my nails. I'm so disappointed that I waste 2 & a 1/2 hours and $60! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went in and got a acrylic set and they did a horrible job and would not fix them when I said I was unhappy about my nails. They wouldn't take them off either, said it was "my problem".
Out of all my Nail salon experiences, I have to say at this salon, Nails #1 has the most nail tip designs. The staff are talented , however I have a slight preference. I usually come on Saturday to get my man to do my nails. He continually amazes me, with the creativity he has. So I just let him do what he wants and charge what he wants.
I find if cheap out on myself I don't get the full enjoyment I am entitled to.
I am so proud of my Nails, I get compliments all the time!
I just got my nails done there, my nails are crooked and there is chunks of glue under them. they are gel nails and are dull and not shiny, i will not go back!
I had the best pedicures that I've ever got done here. They took the time to scrape off all the dead skin and callouses and are really thorough. The massage was to die for and best of all the massage chair was great! It even massages your neck and shoulders and your head like a real person. Everyone here seems to be really good at designs too. I had so many compliments. I'm telling all my friends to come here!! Thanks Nails #1!
