There are many healthy bread options out there for all diets. But what are the best breads for health that taste good too?
Bread has gotten a bad rap lately. People want less carbs, less gluten and less refined flour.
It's definitely ideal to avoid refined white flours when you're seeking healthy bread choices.
Whole-grain bread is literally made with the whole grain, meaning that all of the nutrition, fibre, iron and vitamin B remains after the grinding process, making it the highest nutritional value and lowest fat style of wheat flour-based bread.
While not as healthy as whole-grain bread, whole-wheat bread is still very much preferable to white-flour bread.
Gluten-free breads can be a fantastic healthy option that's not just for celiacs and gluten-intolerant people.
