I run a fishing tournament in town each year, and this is our breakfast spot. Truth be told, it's really the only place in town that's open at an early hour, but they don't seem to take advantage of that. They act as if they have competition, and it shows with the line-up that greets you. That's really the only down side that we have found, but it speaks volumes about their popularity.

Imagine a "foodie" visiting a grill for an exciting new food experience.. A Western Sandwich. (Cost $4.50) Imagine the "foodie" waiting 40 minutes for that Western Sandwich with a parched throat because of no coffee refill. But still, "foodie" gives the sandwich a 3. Let me say this: No one has ever waied 49 minutes for a Western Sandwich at the Mosely Street Grill, or has waited 40 minutes for a coffee refill, at least since the new owners took over. Wouldn;t it be great for the new owners if their servers were run off their feet and their cooks were so busy that it took 40 minutes to get a Western Sandwich out of the kitchen. Soon folks like the "foodie" will need a reservation. Or just a nice lie?

Stopped in on Canada Day after the raining parade. 3 kids in tow. We had heard they had great pizza so decided to stop. My kids have only eated chain pizza once or twice in their lives and it's greasy cardboard so we don't even bother. This was a marvelous find! Hands down best pizza I've ever had... next to this place in Lewiston NY 10 years ago LOL Seriously, the Thin crust, and homemade sauce is something else! Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!!

Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50)
Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music.
You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less!
We drive past half a dozen breakfast joints that we have tried in the past to have breakfast here. (often)
