I went to the restaurant during lunch hour and there were a lot of noisy young kids in the restaurant. The ceilings are very high and all the noise echoed. The owner added to the noise by putting on two televisions.
They are planning on having outside seating as well which will be a lot better.
All the food that our table ordered was hot, fresh, plentiful and delicious.
I will definitely go back again, but next time I will wear earplugs. LOL

Be aware there's always a waiting line for breakfast at Melissa's. That alone should tell you how good it is. The servers are great and can become overworked especailly in ski season as customers are rushing for breakfast to catch the next bus up to the ski hills. But we don't ski so our server could get a breath and not have to rush. The food is excellent and service is great. The only thing I'd like to see is senior protions of some of the larger breakfasts the Eggs benny come 1/2 portion but none of the other signiture breakfasts do. Stopped by here on a road trip in December. As soon as we walked in the guy struck up a conversation and was very friendly. We ordered one piece and fries each. He gave us two good sized pieces and tons of fries. He offered us his “never ending fries”, but with the large portion we did not need to take him up on that. Great food, great service.
