A party of 3 international travellers were seated at one of the many small quaint tables. The decor resembled that of both Thai and Indian, as did the menus. There were 2 other small parties seated but did not disrupt our experience. Service was immediate and very polite. Beverages were served first and promptly. The wait between entrees and the main course was a little longer than common. The food was edible but not as refined as I would have liked. Tandoori chicken was a little too burnt. Green Curry seemed watery and lacked substance. Chicken masala did not have as much flavor as most. The garlic naan was delicious, moist and crispy. Mango Lassis were perfect. Saffron rice was light and fluffy. This place paid close attention to details with respect to the presentation of the food, prompt service, ambiance and environment. This raised my overall score. Great location also - close to Kensington and Bathurst/College area. I usually get imitation duck - a layered (a little oily) tofu appetizer. I love the mushroom dishes. Re: the service and atmosphere: I've had both great and crabby servers here, but the lady that handles the bills (I think it's the owner) has always been super nice to us.
