We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Read more

Considering it was a Monday the restaurant was almost full , a little wait and I was seated by a gracious lady ( I think one of the owner's family).I liked their ambience (they have recently renovated) and efficient service. Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology. I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well. Read more

Their event catering service for lunch & evening snacks made me & my team proud on my decision. I wonder how I missed looking this food place for last many years. After reading some excellent reviews, I decided to bring my husband here for his birthday dinner. Most of what we had were new to us but very tasty. I've always wanted to try jamon iberico and we were able to get our first taste of the famed iberico and it was indeed fantastic!
