Take two friends — Ethan Song and Hicham Ratnani — both engineers who have proven themselves in the corporate world and want to start a business in the world of men's fashion. The result is a new concept, a modern experience and a menswear brand nowhere near the ordinary. These two friends are the owners of Frank & Oak.
In the beginning, Frank & Oak was an online store that offered a new collection every month. The brand developed over time and with the trends, able to meet the needs of the modern young man who likes to live well.
In creating this brand, the founders wanted to revolutionize the concept of shopping, while keeping Montreal culture in mind, especially that of the Mile End neighbourhood. As the label suggests, the concept is "imagined on St-Viateur" because the heart of the company remains well established in Montreal, where the great team continues to grow.
Frank & Oak offers different backpacks in canvas and premium quality leather, designed for the active man. First designed for function and durability, these backpacks are not lacking in style. Indigo, sand, tan or black ... it’s your choice, and all at a reasonable price!
It is a pleasure to visit this workshop-boutique on St. Viateur, where designers offer gentlemen the opportunity to be well dressed...all while presenting them with a small espresso. All of the collections are available in store, and clients can try the clothes on, for size, before buying them online. Oh yes, there are also barbers on site! For a more complete service than that...
Frank & Oak started in Montreal as an online menswear boutique that designs and sells their own brand. They have since opened an atelier where men can browse, get consultations and be properly fitted. Clothes are tailored to the modern style-conscious man, refined, yet still casual and very well priced. Enjoy a delicious cuppa coffee from Montreal’s very own Café Névé while you shop. There is also an on-site barber.
