For a few years, not a month went by without a columnist or a journalist addressing the return of vinyl. Although the black slab has resurfaced on major e-commerce sites and at select retailers that cater to 18 to 30 year olds, some enthusiasts still haven’t had enough. Some have even found a way to add a new dimension to the excitement of 45 and 33 1/3 records by opening hybrid shops.
This was the case for the record café 180g, located at 6546 Waverley Street, in the heart of Mile-Ex. Founded in 2015 by Christophe De Muri and Charles-Étienne Brassard, the business has become a staple of the genre.
