Mongolian Grill invites you to their establishment. They are open at night all week and are conveniently reachable by car. The neighboring location is remarkable for its parks.
We went here last night for the 3rd year in a row to celebrate my senior mothers birthday. First off I did not bother to do the buffet due to the lack of organization and people just budding in front of others- so I decided to order my meal along with 6 kids, kids meal- I ordered calimari which had 2 rather large pieces of plastic in them and I showed it to the waitress who just took it to show manager, who never once came to apologize or anything! The kids meals are absolutely disgusting !
Compared to other Mongolian Grills this one was OK. It was reasonable for lunch and salad bar. The meet was a little overcooked but it is probably better to have it that way. Salad bar was underwhelming. We will return on our way through Oshawa but would not make a special trip to go.
Go here for the experience, not the food. It's a bit pricey for what you get, and usually the food is completely overcooked. I suspect this is because all of the meats have different cooking times - to avoid making anyone sick, they simply overcook all of it.
The experience - making your own stir fry and watching it being cooked - is definitely the draw at this place. It makes it a different experience from all of the other food joints around. So if you're looking for something different, try it - but don't expect the best meal you've ever eaten.
