Nasib’s Shawarma & Falafel Restaurant has been a family-owned and operated establishment since 1962. Owner Emad Bahloul took over the popular eatery, located in a crowded Scarborough strip mall, over 15 years ago. Today, many of his customers call him the Shawarma King.
Even though this stretch of Lawrence, just east of the Don Valley, is saturated with Middle Eastern restaurants, Emad was the first to start selling shawarma in this neighbourhood. He stands by the quality of the food he serves; so do his customers judging by the lunchtime lines every day of the week.

I absolutely loved the chicken shawarma at Nasibs. It was flavorful and delicious! I could have had 1 more. However, I am on a diet. Great place. Nice and family friendly restaurant. Will definately be coming again!!
got into line with my friend. he ordered the shawarma (last order)... he gave him his order and completely forgot about me placing my order and ran to the back with the shawarma thing in this hand to start cleaning away to go home. so I called him to tell him I also wanted to place the order - so he stuck it back up on the machine and was attempting to light it up again - i just said forget it and told him it was okay now - I didn't need it anymore.... then we left. not going back.
