This used to be my favourite restaurant! I would wish as often as twice a day, ordering my usual order of Vegetable soup and beer. However, it came to my attention that the vegetable soup is made with chicken broth, and when this was made clear to me by a friend who serves there, I vowed never to return. Good service though, unless someone in your party rudely slams their cup on the table.
I dropped by to play NTN one night, and had a meal in the bar. The bartender, a sweet lady named Shelia, is the best thing about the place. The management has changed, and the place has gone downhill since our last visit
The homemade bread and salad, were excellent. My chicken pasta, with sauce, was a pretty small portion, and rated an okay. It was lucky the bread and salad were served, as the chicken was lacking. It was fairly pricey, over 11.00 for the dish, and not worth it, except as I stated, for the side servings.
Next time I go, I will just have a couple of drinks. The bar menu is half-priced on game nights, which makes it reasonable. Big points to the bartender, she was a real sweetheart
